TicketAssist

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Service Description

TicketAssist is an informational tool that helps UK drivers understand their options when they receive a traffic or parking ticket. We analyse ticket details you provide and generate draft appeal letters based on publicly available information about UK parking and traffic law.

TicketAssist does not provide legal advice. We are not a law firm, and using our service does not create a solicitor-client relationship. For legal representation, especially in criminal matters, you should consult a qualified solicitor.

2. User Responsibilities

By using TicketAssist, you agree that:

You will review and personalise any appeal letter before sending it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including any uploaded ticket photos. You are solely responsible for any correspondence you send to councils, private parking companies, or tribunals. You will not use the service for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

3. Limitations of Service

We do not guarantee the outcome of any appeal. Success rates vary depending on the circumstances of each case, the issuing authority, and the evidence available. Our case strength assessments are estimates based on general patterns and should not be treated as predictions.

TicketAssist does not handle criminal matters including speeding offences that carry points, court summons, drink driving, or any offence that could result in a criminal record.

4. Data Processing

We collect and process the data you provide (ticket photos, vehicle registration numbers, answers to questions) solely for the purpose of generating your appeal. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, processing, retention, and your rights.

5. Payment Terms

TicketAssist is currently offered as a free beta service. Payment terms will be communicated clearly before any paid features are introduced. You will always be informed of costs before being charged.

6. Intellectual Property

The TicketAssist name, logo, and service design are our intellectual property. The appeal letters we generate are provided for your personal use in relation to your specific ticket appeal. You may not resell, redistribute, or use generated content for commercial purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TicketAssist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss resulting from an unsuccessful appeal or missed deadlines.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Contact Information
